Ekan®RD-35

Redosage Admixture

EKAN®RD 35 is a water-reducing plasticiser.

It is used to increase the pumpability of concrete in all concrete classes and can be applied before pumping in all weather conditions.

Thanks to its special formula, EKAN®RD 35 is compatible with all types of plasticisers except naphthalene-sulfonate-based superplasticisers.

EKAN®RD 35 should be added to the concrete mixer and mixed at high speed (5 minutes per 1 m3 of concrete).

Areas of Use

Application

Dosage: 0.3 kg – 1.2 kg per 100 kg cement.

Optimum dose of EKAN®RD 35 should be established after local tests considering expected mechanical properties of the cement and fluidity of the mixture.

EKAN®RD 35 is fully water-soluble. For best performance, it is recommended to add the product to the second half of the mixture water.

Measures

EKAN®RD 35‘s shelf life is 12 months when stored in its original package and away from direct sunlight.

After a long idle period, shake, mix the product or use a circulation pump to homogenize it before use.

After a freezing-thawing cycle, mix the product before use.
