Ultra Consistency, High Range Water Reducing New Generation Super Plasticiser

  • EKAN®MIX 4709 is an ultra consistency, high range water-reducing new generation superplasticiser based on polycarboxylate.

  • EKAN®MIX 4709 ensures long-lasting consistency and workability without delaying setting time in cases where concrete’s consistency performance is expected to be maximum.

  • EKAN®MIX 4709 enables concrete production at low water/cement ratios, which results in an increased water impermeability of concrete.

  • EKAN®MIX 4709 should not be used with products based on naphthalene sulfonate.

Areas of Use

  • All types of cement (except for aluminous cement)

  • Ready-mix concrete

Application

Dosage: 0.4 kg – 2.0 kg per 100 kg cement.

For general concrete applications: 0.4% – 0.8%

For high fluidity concrete or self-compacting concrete applications: 0.8% – 2.0%

Optimum dose of EKAN®MIX 4709 should be established after local tests considering expected mechanical properties of the cement and fluidity of the mixture.

EKAN®MIX 4709 is fully water-soluble. For best performance, it is recommended to add the product to the second half of the mixture water.

Measures

EKAN®MIX 4709’s shelf life is 12 months when stored in its original package and away from direct sunlight.

After a long idle period, shake, mix the product or use a circulation pump to homogenize it before use.

After a freezing-thawing cycle, mix the product before use.
