  • EKAN®MIX 053-S1 is a new generation high range water-reducing polycarboxylate-based superplasticising admixture.

  • EKAN®MIX 053-S1 facilitates the workability and placement of concrete while ensuring a good concrete surface. It contributes to improving the rheology of the concrete, aiding in maintaining consistency and homogeneity. It is suitable for use in conditions where high workability is desired.

  • EKAN®MIX 053-S1 enables concrete production at low water/cement ratios, which results in an increased water impermeability of concrete.
  • EKAN®MIX 053-S1 should not be used with products based on naphthalene sulfonate.

Application

Dozaj: 0,6 kg – 2,0 kg per 100 kg cement.

Optimum dose of EKAN®MIX 053-S1 should be established after local tests considering expected mechanical properties of the cement and fluidity of the mixture.

EKAN®MIX 053-S1 is fully water-soluble. For best performance, it is recommended to add the product to the second half of the mixture water.

Measures

EKAN®MIX 053-S1’s shelf life is 12 months when stored in its original package and away from direct sunlight.

After a long idle period, shake, mix the product or use a circulation pump to homogenize it before use.

After a freezing-thawing cycle, mix the product before use.
